I really like these folded paper Werewolf claws ...

Knit Witty - Make a Mask

I've seen some pretty funny masks this year made with yarn. If you can knit or crochet, you might want to try making a swine flu knit mask (pig nose, in pink yarn) or try your hand at whipping up one of the masks like this green frog-like helmet featured at Halloween Knit and Crochet projects.

If you don't have the time to knit yourself a mask and you want to dress up for Halloween or Mardi Gras , you can put together a last minute costume from old clothes and other stuff you have around the house.

Mardi Gras Masquerade

Let yourself go and experiment with fantasy a bit for Mardi Gras or Carnivale. All it takes is a bit of imagination to create fabulous costumes and masks. You can even make a costume for your pet.

Children's costumes and masks are easy to make from simple materials. Adult masks can be more elaborate - decorate a basic eye mask with sequins, feathers, glitter and exotic fabrics to make your mask into an exotic and exciting work of art.
